Diner's - Cafe's & Dive's
Here they are!
Not in any order of preference
I will number them in the future by my taste and liking of the eatery.
Please allow me to tell you about some of my favorite Diner's and Cafe's
that I like to frequent and to enjoy a good meal!
Not to mention that I like a good dinner at a restaurant because I do
especially with friends or a romantic dinner with a pretty nice young lady!
Let's start by saying Diner's on the whole are not like they were in the
50's-60's-70's....They all know each other! (owners), They all order from
the same restaurant supply. So they all basically taste the same and the
menu as about the same. Of course if you know me you know I love
Diner's per say!... I love the food, I love the service, I love the ombience.
I just love the interaction with the owner's and service staff, especially
the lady service staff!!!!....I just love the whole social networking
community friendly atmosphere!...It's not always about the food.
You can meet friends, old friends or even make new friends...You can
read the newspaper, read a book, use your laptop, do your homework
or even have a business meeting.....You can strike up conversations
and as so often happens it's "Hey let's meet at the Diner to talk about it!
As I said now a days just about every Diner is about the same...Menu's
look alike (some bigger - some smaller)...Breakfast 24 hours a day
Salads, Wraps, Panni's etc etc...of course the Daily Special's of the day.
So when I go to the Diner it is always "Soup" - "Salad" -and I look for the
Special's of the day because most of the time the Special's are made
fresh that day unless it's early or late then it is breakfast!
Have to be honest, all though it's not my favorite Diner I love the
Port Chester Diner for:
Monday - Lobster Special & Tuesday Prime Rib Special
